History of Smart Kiddies Fun Centre
Smart Kiddies Fun Centre was established in 2016 by Daphne Machaka who is the founder and principal. The ECD began as a small centre with one teacher and eight children. Daphne recognised that the importance of early childhood development in the community where the centre is operating was often overlooked, and majority focused on high school and university education, she then saw an opportunity for innovation. in 2018 the ECD moved from a rental property to Daphne’s house with the growth of 75 children enrolled from 2018-2020. Today the ECD centre accommodates 130 children with a total of 11 qualified staff members and 7 classses in total. The ECD also provides transportation for children around the area, because of this, the school owns 2 kombies
